Our SRWF Club's "2021 Essay Contest" is awarding a $500 prize per the following. 
Category 1:  Graduating High School Seniors
Category 2: College students under the age of 25 (open to all majors)  

REQUIREMENTS

• Student must be a graduating high school senior above the age of 16 1/2 or a college student under the age of 25 
• Student must be attending a high school, planning to attend college, or currently enrolled in a college that is in Sacramento County 
• If in college, student must be enrolled with a minimum of 12 units
• Essay must be 1,000 - 1,500 words long
• Essay must be in MLA format, Sources must be cited
• Essay must be turned in by May 1, 2021

TOPIC CHOICES
Student must choose one of the folloiwng topics
1) What can the Republican Party do to involve more young people?
2) Make an argument for capitalism/free markets.  Specifically explain the dangers of socialism.
